SCOPE OF WORK:
Design and Activate Safety Leadership culture intervention at all levels of the organization
grit supported a copper mining, smelter and refinery operation to design and implement a Safety Leadership Intervention after a number of critical incidents at site.
The intervention was designed to create a line in the sand for leaders to commit taking on a new approach to safety leadership and implement whatever it took on the ground to effect change. grit.Safe™ Leader workshops were conducted for leaders to declare their commitment to living the newly co-created safety leader covenants, and play an active, visible safety leader role. Heavy field coaching focused on leadership of safety, both social and technical, with grit.Leader Eyes™; grit.What Do You See™ and grit.3 in a Row™ Coaching programs for leaders, superintendents and supervisors, providing sustainable personal development. Results were measured through establishing baseline performance, tracking progress of individuals and consolidating reports on the organization’s journey towards achieving safety performance excellence.
